Here we have a very nice Yashica Lynx 1000 35mm film rangefinder camera.

This camera is in very nice condition. It is an all-manual mechanical camera that works without batteries. The selenium light meter has not been tested for perfect accuracy, but it is responsive to light changes. The slow shutter speeds (under 1/30th of a second) are a little slower than they should be.

The film compartment is clean and free of corrosion and debris, the lens glass is clear and clean, the shutter and aperture blades are oil-free and actuate perfectly. The focus ring spins nicely, all levers and buttons function as they should. The rangefinder and viewfinder are both nice and clear, with a decently contrasting focus patch.

This camera comes with a Yashinon 45mm F/1.8 fixed fast prime lens. This is a perfect focal length for general photography, snap shots, and street photography. It's an exceptionally sharp lens, excellent at resolving detail, and Yashica's glass does very well to enhance contrast and render colors accurately.
